THE HOUSE

Our house, "Filou", is situated in the beautiful Lot-et-Garonne, in Anzex, a little village nestled between the sunflower fields and the beautiful pine forests of the Landes de Gascogne. It is a 19th century stone farmhouse, with plenty of original features. 

Wildlife is all around: deers, rabbits, badgers, hedgehogs, pheasants, partridges, birds of prey and herons are the most common visitors.

Around here, the absence of pollution and of artificial light allows you to admire the stars. We were stunned by the sight when we first moved here, as we never saw them like this before! Ideal location for the night of shooting stars, in August. 

All our guests have free access to a 538 sqft dining room, a 538 sqft terrace, a 645 sqft lounge with sofas and TV, reading area and full-size pool table, with stunning panoramic views of the countryside. Free access also to 2.5 acres of fenced garden. Secure off-road parking.

The house has different levels and all bedrooms are situated on the first floor, therefore is unsuitable for wheelchairs.

We provide baby equipment such as bed, bath and highchair free of charge, subject to availability.

Pets are not allowed.

Smoking is only permitted outside the house.

THE BEDROOMS

There are 4 spacious and comfortable double bedrooms of an average size of 21m² (226 sqft), all with private en-suite facilities, and decorated to a high standard.

Decoration and furniture will be in a traditional French style, the rooms have plenty of character with exposed stone walls and sloping ceilings showing original oak beams. The perfect mix of rusticity and luxury.

*Prices above are per night, per room (1 or 2 occupants). An additional "taxe de séjour" of EUR. 0.75 per person per night will apply for all occupants of 13 years of age and over.

No charge for children up to 2 years of age (cot available free of charge subject to availability).

An additional single bed may be booked, for EUR. 15.00 per night, please inquire. Maximum 3 people per room.

"Melusine" and "Pantagruel" are adjoining rooms, and can be rented as one family room. 

A hearty continental country breakfast is included: fruit, bread, croissants, home-made jam, ... And you can order a full english breakfast at the additional cost of EUR. 7.50 per pers.

An evening meal (starter, main course, dessert, wine and tea or coffee) is available, for a price of 19.00 EUR per person. Fresh, local produce. We also cater for vegetarians. Child's menu: 12.00 EUR, up to the age of 12.

A light dinner is also available for 12.00 EUR., consisting of cold meat/cheese and salad with wine.
